Tony Kubek is a retired American
professional baseball player and television broadcaster. During his
nine-year playing career with the New York Yankees, Kubek played in six
World Series in the late 1950s and early 1960s, starting in 37 World
Series games. He won the Al Rookie of the Year Award in 1957. For NBC
television, he later broadcast eleven World Series between 1969 and
1982, and fourteen League Championship Series between 1969 and 1989. On
December 9, 2008, Tony Kubek won the 2009 Ford C. Frick Award, an honor
bestowed on broadcasters by the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
Tony Kubek has hand signed this MLB ball and has added the inscription,
